Results of the online poll: top issues in 2011

In our online poll we wanted to know what your top issues are for 2011. This is what you responded: Nearly 40% of respondents stated that Recruiting Talent is the top issue for 2011. Developing Talent within the company was a close second. 16% of respondents want to Retain Ralent and only 10% said that Optimising HR Costs was top of the agenda.

Internationalising HR Processes was voted the least important with only 6% of votes.

These results seem to reflect what we hear in the news - various economies are once again on an upward swing and companies are recruting once again. On the other hand, the talent shortage hasn't gone away and companies are focussing on developing and retaining their existing talent rather than 'just' recruiting externally.
